Diverse Cymru is pleased to celebrate the official opening of the accessible lift at Cardiff Castle, which for the first time in the Castle’s illustrious history provides access to those with barriers to access to the Main House.

This is the result of a long campaign by Diverse Cymru and the Cardiff Council Access Focus Group that helped drive this project forward to reach this successful conclusion. The event will also provide an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our Paralympics Team by inviting gold medal winning Paralympic cyclist Mark Colbourne to officially open the facility.
