Riverside Advice, in collaboration with British Gas Energy Trust, is running a one day Fuel Debt Advice course.
The course is aimed at individuals in charities, housing associations, health organisations and community groups who are not directly involved in an advisory role on the subject of energy efficiency. At the end of the session you will be able to:

– ·Understand what fuel poverty is and the causes of fuel debt.
– ·Explain to your clients and service users, fuel supplier obligations and customer responsibilities, payment options, bills, billing errors.
– ·How to make a complaint
– ·How to access funding through trusts and grants
