Cardiff Central Library Hub: Refugee Week Event
Cardiff Central Library Hub in partnership with Welsh Refugee Council would like to invite you and your service users to join us in the Refugee Week celebration on 22nd June from 11am-3pm.
Theme this year is ‘Our Home’, and the event will feature –
- Multicultural music & dance by Oasis One World Choir, Kurdish Community, Sudanese Community and Ukrainian Community
- Inspirational talks involving future changemakers- facilitated by Cardiff University
- Art exhibition based on CardiffMet Refugee Art project,
- Themed workshops led by Displaced People In Action (DPIA) and The Birth Partner Project (TBPP)
- Information stalls from local community organisations- Oasis, Trinity, DPIA, TBPP, CardiffVolunteerCentre, FAN, Cardiff Women’s Aid, HousingJustice, DiverseCymru, HyaatWomenTrust, SubSaharaAdvisoryPanel, CityofSanctuary and CouncilWellbeingTeam.
