Disability Wales: Help Shape the Manifesto for the 2026 Senedd Elections
Disability Wales is inviting disabled people and Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs) across Wales to contribute to its upcoming Manifesto for the 2026–2031 Senedd term. This Manifesto will outline the key changes needed to improve the lives of disabled people and will guide Disability Wales’ campaigning and advocacy work.
What is a Manifesto?
A manifesto is a public statement of priorities and proposed changes. It sets the agenda and ensures disabled voices are central to political decision-making in Wales.
Call for Contributions
Disability Wales is asking individuals and organisations to share their top five priorities—the issues they believe are most important for disabled people and DPOs in Wales.
Ways to respond:
Complete the online survey here
Respond via writing, BSL, voice note, AAC, or preferred method
Submit creative responses such as artwork, videos, mind maps, or storytelling by emailing natalie.jarvis@disabilitywales.org
Help spread the word
The more voices involved, the stronger and more representative the Manifesto will be. Disability Wales encourages sharing this invitation with networks, groups, and on social media.
