Do you know a young person who has made a difference in your school or community or who has inspired others?

The deadline for this year’s Wales Young Peacemakers Awards, jointly organised by the Welsh Centre for International Affairs, Academi Heddwch Cymru and Llangollen International Music Festival is fast approaching!   Don’t miss out!  Children, young people and schools will be celebrated for their achievements and receive awards at the Llangollen Eisteddfod on Friday 5th July 2024.

The closing date for applications this year is 31st May 2024.  Hurry – get your application(s) in today!  Individual young people or groups (between 5 and 25 years old) can enter under the following categories or you can also choose to submit a nomination!

  • Young Community Peacebuilder
  • Young Peace Writer(s) categories for Primary and Secondary aged young people)
  • Young Peace Artist(s) (categories for Primary and Secondary aged young people)
  • Young Climate Action Hero
  • Young Mental Health Champion
  • Young Peace Heritage
