WSAS Lunch & Learn session ‘Researching VAWDASV’

The Welsh Sexual Assault Services’ series of ‘lunch & learn’ sessions continue in September with the next-in-line:
Researching Violence Against Women Domestic Abuse Sexual Violence (VAWDASV)
26 September 2023 at 1pm – 2pm
Speakers:Professor Emily Underwood-Lee & Dr Sarah Wallace
          South Wales University VAWDASV Research Network
The session will introduce the work of the ‘VAWDASV Research Network Wales’, its aims, purpose, and background.
We will share an overview of the study ‘Setting the VAWDASV Research Priorities for Wales, together with the activities the research network have engaged in, to take this work forward.
Discussions will explore with attendees the sexual violence and abuse priorities, the role of the research network to support/facilitate research in this area, and opportunities for future collaboration.
Who should attend?
Any professionals or academics working with adults, children, young and older victims and survivors of sexual assault and abuse who is interested in thinking about how research might inform or otherwise play a role in their practice or who would like to share and extend existing research or develop new research projects in collaboration with the VAWDASV sector and Universities in Wales.
What next?
The session takes place online via MS Teams.
Once registered, you will receive a booking confirmation with joining instructions.
