The Minister published a written statement yesterday detailing the Welsh Government’s ministerial priorities for the NHS. Amongst her priorities the minister listed a closer relationship between the NHS and local government, improving access to primary care, urgent and planner care, cancer services and mental health. The minister added that these priorities should be supported by a range of core functions, and set March 31 as the deadline for NHS organisations to submit plans on how they will be delivered.
