Last year, Marian Dixey won the Trustee of the Year award at the Cardiff Volunteer Awards 2022. Marian is a Trustee for ACE – Action in Caerau and Ely.
We caught up with her earlier this month to ask some questions since receiving the award:
How has Ace – Action in Caerau and Ely progressed in volunteering in the past year?
Investing in ACE has achieved the Volunteers award this year which has given the group further recognition.
What do you hope for volunteering in the future?
I hope that volunteers continue to be appreciated and supported by the community and organisations.
Where do you display your 2022 Award?
At home on my sideboard!
Can you give us a quote on how winning the Trustee of the Year Award in 2022 made you feel?
“Very humble but proud.”
