Arthritis Engagement Events – Open for Registration
People living with arthritis, their carers, healthcare professionals, or anyone with an interest are invited to attend a local Arthritis Engagement Event. These events will explore how research is transforming treatments for knee osteoarthritis, preventing infections after joint replacements, and improving care for lower back pain. Attendees will also have the chance to discuss existing support services and help identify future needs in their community.

Who can attend: People with arthritis, carers, healthcare professionals, and anyone with an interest.
Cost: Free (spaces are limited, please only register if able to attend).

  • Rhos On Sea – Thursday, 10 October
  • Wrexham – Friday, 11 October
  • Carmarthen – Monday, 21 October
  • Cardiff – Thursday, 7 November
  • Aberystwyth – Wednesday, 13 November
  • Llandrindod Wells – Wednesday, 27 November
Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.
These events are hosted by Versus Arthritis in collaboration with Professor Valerie Sparkes, Director of the Biomechanics and Bioengineering Research Centre at Cardiff University.
