On April 15th 2023, intense clashes broke out between Sudan military rivals in Khartoum. This has left the city by the Nile in a frantic state with numerous explosions and heavy gun fire stealing the peace of five million inhabitants as well as the country at large. Did you know that according to the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project 1.6 million people have been displaced within Sudan borders and externally? Did you also know that 1,800 individuals have lost their lives since mid-April? So, let’s ask this again: How are you standing with Sudan at the moment?
