The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect on 25 May 2018.
GDPR aims to provide more protection for individuals, meaning more privacy obligations for organisations. The UK’s decision to leave the EU will not affect the commencement of the GDPR. It is time to start planning to ensure your organisation is compliant.
The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has produced a useful 12 steps to take now guide to help prepare you.
