We are pleased to confirm that the Health Fair is set to return this Autumn, and will give individuals and families the opportunity to access a wide range of information from various organisations on ways we can look after ourselves better. Every year, the event invites health professionals to join us and this year will be no different. A Q&A session will also give participants the opportunity to ask their health-related questions. The theme to this year’s event is Celebrating Diversity in Health Care.

How to get involved

Volunteering Opportunity

Support Volunteers: We are looking for volunteers from different cultural backgrounds to support with signposting and helping visitors navigate through the event. Fluency in a community language is helpful although not a specific requirement of the role.

Accessibility: Do you think you can support in helping people get to the event? We are also keen to support the event to be as accessible as possible for participants, and welcome individuals and groups who can offer transport service to make this happen.

For more information about volunteering at this year’s MEC Health Fair, please visit the Volunteering Wales page here.

You can also email us at enquiries@c3sc.org.uk under the subject ‘MEC Health Fair 2025 – Volunteering Opportunity’ to express your interest.

Spread the Word

Can you help promote the event in the community and spread the word?

We welcome C3SC members and other organisations support in promoting the event and making it accessible to all members of the ethnic minority communities. If you support Minority Ethnic community groups and would like to help by promoting and making the event as accessible as possible, please e-mail anna.r@c3sc.org.uk with the subject “MEC Health Fair community”.
