Volunteer Centre Support Officer

Magda joined C3SC in April 2022. Working as a part of the Volunteer Centre team, Magda connects volunteers from diverse backgrounds to volunteering opportunities in Cardiff. She also supports organisations in recruiting volunteers, making sure that the opportunities are accessible to all. 

Originally from Poland, she moved to Cardiff to complete her MA in International Public Relations. She holds a Journalism and Media Studies degree from the University of Warsaw and worked in journalism and corporate communications. Having a keen interest in languages she obtained a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting and worked as a Polish/English interpreter in Cardiff. She has learnt Welsh to an advanced level and can communicate in several languages. Magda is a trustee of the Polish Saturday School in Cardiff where she is also a volunteer teacher and she would like to attract more people from diverse backgrounds to volunteering. In her spare time she likes to explore Wales on foot and on bike and to research the history of WW2.
