The Welsh Government is developing a new Dementia Action Plan for Wales, and the Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board (RPB) wants to ensure that local voices are heard.
The plan will guide how dementia services and support are delivered in the coming years, so it’s vital that it reflects the real experiences of people living with dementia, unpaid carers, families, and the communities who support them.
The Cardiff and Vale RPB – which includes Cardiff Council, Vale of Glamorgan Council, and local Third Sector partners – is gathering feedback through a short survey and community conversations. Your views will form part of the regional response to Welsh Government and help influence the final national plan.
Share Your Views if you:
- Live with dementia or support someone who does
- Are an unpaid carer or family member
- Work or volunteer with people affected by dementia
- Are part of a dementia-friendly community group
The survey will remain open throughout October and November 2025, with all feedback helping to shape the regional submission to Welsh Government in December 2025.
Together, we can help ensure the Dementia Action Plan for Wales truly reflects what matters most to our communities.
