The British Red Cross is offering a new round of fully funded international volunteering placements through the Taith Programme, open to young people aged 18–25 living in Wales. These placements provide an opportunity to gain experience in the humanitarian sector while developing key skills in resilience, adaptability, and cross-cultural working.
Priority will be given to applicants who may not normally have the opportunity to volunteer overseas, including those from low socio-economic backgrounds, carers or care-experienced individuals, people who have accessed free school meals, refugees or asylum seekers, and those with disabilities or additional needs.
Current opportunities:

Please note:
  • Applicants must be aged 18–25 and based in Wales.
  • Interviews will take place online for shortlisted candidates.
For further details, visit the British Red Cross Volunteering webpage or share within your networks to help reach as many young people in Wales as possible.
