Training

Delivered by Watts Gregory LLP and Whittingham Riddell Chartered Accounts.

The vast majority of people working in the voluntary sector are honest and committed. However, charities are not exempt from fraudulent activity – as is evident from recent press reports. It is therefore vital that organisations know what the dangers are and put in place sensible measures to prevent or detect fraud.

This WCVA seminar will help make you aware of the ‘danger signs’ and of the sort of controls needed to minimise risks. It will also provide a refresher on good general and financial risk management.

Find out more and book your space via the WCVA website. This seminar will be preceded by a ‘Understanding and preparing accounts under the new SORP’ seminar.

Afternoon session.
