There are currently 106,000 people in Wales living with sight loss but that number is set to double over the next 25 years.

This RNIB Cymru workshop will equip you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to ensure you can meet the challenges of this growing population.

This workshop will:

• Give you a greater understanding of the issues and challenges faced by people with sight loss
• Give you an overview of common sight loss conditions
• Help you to provide appropriate support for people with sight loss
• Help you to communicate appropriately with people sight loss
• Help you to promote the independence, safety and wellbeing of people with sight loss
• Explore what support is available to people with sight loss
• Explain your legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010.
