Event

You are invited to a very interesting and interactive workshop and exhibition entitled ‘My vision of Grangetown.’ If you haven’t yet been down to the newly renovated Grange Pavilion this would be a great opportunity to both come and have a look around and offer your ideas as to how it could be used to most benefit the local community – and of course enjoy a cup of tea and a piece of cake with the team!

For a full programme of events for the day please see below:

What’s your Grangetown? Cardiff University’s Community Gateway, the Welsh School of Architecture and Grangetown community partners Grange Pavilion Project and Art shell are holding a free, open to all, ideas workshop and public exhibition day in the Grange Pavilion this coming Saturday 15th October.

Come along to take part in a ‘My vision of Grangetown’ workshop between 10-2pm, to share your visions for Grangetown with Cardiff University architecture students and resident artists Richard Powell and Art shell.

Join in the ‘What’s your Grangetown?’ exhibition between 2-5pm, to celebrate Grangetown’s past, present and future. With adult and kids activities, and free tea and cake, the exhibition will include work by Welsh School of Architecture students and Grangetown area school pupils.

Meet Cardiff University’s Community Gateway team to find out more about our work in Grangetown, and find out more about the Grangetown resident-led Grange Pavilion Project’s ideas for turning the Grange Pavilion into a community-owned centre.

Pop into the Grange Pavilion any Monday or Friday 9am-5pm to find out more about how you can get involved, or contact us on communtygateway@cardiff.ac.uk.
