What is Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA)? YMHFA (Wales) is for everybody. It is particularly relevant for those who work with adolescents and may come into contact with young people at risk of experiencing mental distress.Only YMHFA Instructors can deliver this course. They have been specially selected, trained and approved. This ensures YMHFA Instructors have a certain level of knowledge, skills and experience and that there is consistency in delivery across Wales.
