WCVA has just confirmed the first conference of 2016, the Wales Charity Law and Governance Conference in partnership with Geldards law firm.

The Annual Charity Law and Governance Conference returns to keep you apprised of all the latest legal and regulatory developments. Whether you’re a Trustee, Chief Executive, Legal Advisor or Finance or Policy Officer, whether you wear many hats or just one, this is the conference to help keep your organisation on track.

This year Tesse Akpeki will be talking about ‘Governing Effectively in a Digital Era’ and the role of the Board in promoting digital governance. There will also be a discussion on charities ‘in the glare of critical media attention’, and a fantastic array of practical breakout sessions to choose from, including ‘What every trustee needs to know’ (great for new trustees or as a refresher) and ‘The Lobbying Act: what you need to know ahead of the Assembly elections’.
