An Open College Network (OCN) accredited course in promoting breast awareness for voluntary, community or health sector workers.
This course provides you with the knowledge, skills and resources to deliver this crucial health message in the community. Interactive sessions will help you gain the skills to:
– Understand and describe how to be breast aware
– Help people overcome barriers to accessing health services
– Explain the NHS breast screening screening and the process
– Discuss breast awareness on a one-to-one basis with individuals
– Deliver breast awareness workshops
An opportunity to take part in a training course delivered by Breast Cancer Care and accredited by the OCN.
This two-day training course is designed to give confidence in delivering breast awareness messages to groups and individuals.
Accredited participants will be awarded four credits by the OCN. Places are also available for participants who do not wish to be accredited.
