Theatre of the Oppressed as an Acting Methodology & Performance

9th January 2014 - 11th January 2014

Over the three day course you will be taken various Theatre of the oppressed/Boal techniques for acting and devising.   You will have the opportunity to adapt invisible, image, and rainbow exercises for rehearsal techniques and will leave with an arsenal of techniques to apply both individually and as an ensemble in future productions. At the end of the three days you will use the techniques to devise a piece which you can be shown and reflect how in just three days a full length production can be ready for performance.
N.B. For those interested in performing there will be the possibility to perform this piece as an ensemble to the public. Others may wish to stay on to see it staged as audience members.
