You are invited to attend the next meeting of the Welsh Government Tax Forum at the Welsh Government, Cathays Park, Cardiff on Thursday 19 November.

The Minister for Finance and Government Business has highlighted the importance of ensuring the Third Sector is fully engaged in the development of tax policy and legislation in Wales, so colleagues from the Third Sector are very much welcome to attend this meeting.

The agenda for 19 November includes items on:

• New Taxes – led by the Bevan Foundation
• Landfill Disposals Tax – a workshop focusing on the LDT Communities Scheme.  Delegates will be asked to discuss the administrative arrangements of the Scheme including how to maximise funding to projects.
• Land Transaction Tax – a workshop providing an update on LTT and looking at the current landscape in England and Scotland with regard to SDLT and LBTT to consider their relevance to Wales

Spaces for the meeting are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
