By the end of this Participation Cymru course participants will be able to:

– Understand the importance of involving community groupsDescribe how and why people participate
– Understand the key success factors when supporting community participation
– Be aware of how to support community members to identify and voice their needs
– Understand the tensions that can arise
– Explain the success factors and challenges for the key role of ‘broker’ between …service providers and service users.

The course is for people who work with and within communities to enable effective engagement with public services.
