The Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty Lesley Griffiths AM, will be attending and speaking at the event.
The event will focus on Early Years and Employability through the lens of mental wellbeing. It will be looking at how practitioners and front line staff can guide people in building resilience and developing coping mechanisms to prevent mild to moderate mental health conditions affecting their wellbeing and ability to engage in employment and prosper.
Poor mental wellbeing can be a barrier to people entering and / or progressing in employment. Positive early years experiences and supportive home environments, workplaces and communities have a huge role to play in addressing some of these issues.
The day will focus on practical workshops of what is working in this key area of tackling poverty.
The Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty will explain her long term vision for addressing poverty in Wales and the Welsh Government priorities going forward
