The Social Co-operation Forum was established in Wales in 2011. It is made up of individuals and organisations who support the development of social care and well-being services which embrace co-operative principles. It welcomes the new duty on local authorities to promote user-led and co-operative organisations in the field of social care, as set out in Section 16 of the Social Services and Well Being (Wales) Act 2014.
The event is sponsored by Welsh Government.
