Reducing Stress and Increasing Emotional Resilience
The TUC, in 2012, reported that 69% of health and safety representatives cited stress as being the main hazard at work. Our workplaces have become increasingly stressful in the past years and apart from job stress, there are also many events in life that can cause stress, such as relationships, financial difficulties and our attitudes and behaviours. It is well recognised that prolonged stress can have harmful effects on our health and well-being.
This Diverse Cymru course is centred on the notion of mindfulness and increased well being. It uses simple mindfulness techniques to help you reduce that stress and increase your ability to deal with it, so leading to improved health and well-being.
