Person Centered Creativity 3-day course

This Cardiff Council 3-day course runs on Wednesday 1st, 8th and 15th February
Aims: The course is designed to provide social care and health workers with an understanding of person centred creativity as an effective social intervention. The training provides the skills and knowledge required to produce enriched care plans that reinforce individual identity and foster reciprocity in care. The course provides a range of techniques that can be used in 1:1 and group contexts; these address and promote self-esteem, self-awareness and self-confidence in both workers and recipients.
Objectives:
- The relationship between creativity and well-being
- The evidence base for innovative working
- Experiential group work, understanding the process from the recipient’s perspective
- Creating safe environments
- Designing, implementing and evaluating creative programmes
