It’s that time again! Cardiff Pedal Power is getting the ball rolling with our annual sponsored rides. If you haven’t signed up yet, the closing date for registration is 13 June – so get your forms in! This year the rides will be on Saturday 23 June, to coincide with Cardiff Bike Week and the Cardiff Cycle Festival. Last year’s ride was a huge success, raising over £5,000 for the cause. Such fundraising events as the June sponsored rides are crucial in helping support Pedal Power’s services and this year they want to make the rides even bigger.

As you know, Pedal Power is the only cycle hire in Cardiff that provides specialist bikes that enable people who have a disability to enjoy a healthy leisure activity in the beautiful Bute Park.

They also provide cycle training to local special-needs schools, run volunteering programmes that help disabled individuals learn vital life skills, and are one of the only cycling organizations in the UK to provide children with physiotherapist-chosen cycles.
