Target Group

Children’s Services staff, residential support, family support, contact services and foster carers. This course is appropriate for the needs of people working with all ages of children. Please note that for some people this training is required by National Minimum Standards and needs to be repeated every three years. *This is a 2 day course*

• Responsibilities in the workplace
• Infant Resuscitation
• Promoting infant recovery
• Management of bleeding
• Bandaging skills
• Dealing with choking, burns and scalds
• Treating common childhood ailments
• Contents of a First Aid Kit
• Safe use of defibrillator
