– Describe what is meant by ‘new psychoactive substances’ and list the most commonly misused substances
– Identify the effects and risks of these substances
– Explore the role of the internet in this drugs market and how procurement is changing
– Recognise the legal position and identify possible future changes
– Consider harm reduction techniques and treatment options
