Aims
The aim of this Diverse Cymru course is to provide an understanding of the duty to make reasonable adjustments and to assist participants to respond appropriately when reasonable adjustments are required.
Learning outcomes
By the end the session participants will have increased understanding of:
– who has rights to reasonable adjustments
– the nature of the reasonable adjustment duty
– the disadvantages and barriers faced by disabled people
– the range of reasonable adjustments that can be made
– factors which might be taken into account in deciding what is ‘reasonable’
– the liability of employers and individual employees
