Cardiff and Vale Local Safeguarding Children Board’s Annual Conference

This course is for staff from any agency in Cardiff or the Vale of Glamorgan.

The aim of the conference is to explore the challenges of working with families in resistant environments and establish key elements of effective practice.

Objectives

• To develop an understanding of the circumstances surrounding families in resistant environments

• To highlight key elements which increase children’s vulnerability

• To share best practice and research to enhance effective working
