This one-day training course is run by Cardiff Council.

Target group: All staff working in social care with an interest in or need for a basic understanding of Asperger’s.

To be taken on an emotive journey through the world of hidden impairments.

Designed for people to gain a basic understanding of what learning difficulties and social communications disorders are and look like; and more importantly what they mean to the individual and society.

Be able to recognise barriers which are created by society through the eyes of the service user, motivating service providers to give more effective help and support to those with learning difficulties and social communications disorders.

Discover what’s possible with the right mindset!

A certificate of attendance will be issued to participants who attend the whole session. Refreshments and lunch  will be provided.
