The session will consider the latest academic research into why people leave legacies to charity, in order to understand what motivates your potential legacy supporters. You will then look at how these insights can be translated into practice as you work step-by-step through the process of developing a legacy strategy for your organisation, illustrated with best-practice examples from a number of not-for-profits.
