The Compact is a partnership agreement between the Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales, the Chief Constable for South Wales and the Voluntary and Community Sector as represented by the seven County Voluntary Councils in South Wales. Its shared objective is the building and maintaining of healthy and safe communities across South Wales through strengthening joint partnership working.

There will also be an opportunity for organisations to find out more about and influence the development of the next Police and Crime Reduction Plan.

The event is aimed at third sector organisations across the South Wales Police area (Bridgend, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Neath Port Talbot, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Swansea, Vale of Glamorgan), particularly those that have an involvement or interest in community safety.
