This course is suitable for professionals and volunteers in the sector who wish to gain an awareness and understanding on the subject area (level 1).

Course specifications:

This course looks into one of Britain’s most popular recreational drugs. We look at raising awareness on Ketamine and look in depth at the harm reduction techniques that can be applied. We also explore the risks, harms and dangers associated with Ketamine use.

The course includes tutor lead presentations, case studies, practical sessions and group work.

Learning outcomes:
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

1. Describe the effects of Ketamine
2. Analyse the risks surrounding Ketamine
3. Examine methods of use, analyse risks and explore harm minimisation methods

Lunch is provided.
