To celebrate the opening of the ‘Keeping The Art of Braiding Alive’ exhibition, there will be a launch involving members of the project demonstrating braiding and talking about their experience of being involved in the project.  Members of the public will get the opportunity to learn about the art of braiding and have a go at it themselves.

The launch is a free event open to all members of the public

The exhibition is taking place from Saturday 20th October to Friday 26th October and explores the history of braiding, its importance for the community and sees young people’s work come to life.
