Introduction to Working in Partnership through Early Support
FREE training
Early Support is the Welsh Government’s mechanism for achieving better co-ordinated and family-focused services for young disabled children and their families.
Children in Wales is now offering a one-day training course on working in partnership through Early Support. It will introduce you to the Early Support principles and their relevance to your life and/or you work; it will challenge you to think about the difference Early Support can make to you; it will help you to understand the range of resources and support Early Support can offer.
Do you work with children with additional needs and disabilities? Or are you the parent or carer of a disabled child or a child with additional needs? If so….
– Are you willing and enthusiastic and would like to find out what Early Support can offer you?
– Would you like to come to this one-day training course to learn more?
– The training is FREE and materials are included.
Early Support will be a key element of the statutory reform of statementing in Wales – this means that the training will be very useful to you because it will help you to take Early Support forward in your area.
If you attend this one-day Early Support course you will learn much more about the Early Support principles, approach and resources. It will position you to improve support for families and implement a partnership approach to working. Note that this is a condensed version of the longer accredited Working in Partnership through Early Support course that has been offered in Wales over the last two years.
