International Treatment Effectiveness Project training (ITEP)

16th October 2014

International Treatment Effectiveness Programme (ITEP) is a mechanism by which quality of drug treatment can be developed and measured in order to improve delivery of treatment services. It uses mind maps as a visual cognitive tool to help clients organise their thoughts and goals easily, by focusing on images and association. ITEP offers clients a visual way to communicate their current behaviour patterns and help them express what they cannot do through words alone. It can be used in care planning and motivational work from the early stages of treatment until the exit stage

By the end of this NewLink Wales course participants will be able to identify what International Treatment Effectiveness Project (ITEP) is and what it involves. It will explain the use of free mapping and structured mapping for personal use, service user work and supervision settings and will examine the use of mind maps. In addition participants will learn how to select the appropriate maps to practice use to maximise confidence and adapt to current and future working roles.

Voluntary Sector £125.00, Statutory Sector £135.00
