Gov Camp Cymru, the one day unconference for people working in or with public services in Wales, is back for the third year running in 2016.It will take place in the Pierhead Building, Cardiff Bay on Saturday 24th September 2016.
What is a GovCamp and why would I want to attend?
A Govcamp is an event, also known as an unconference, where the attendees lead the programme – there’s no agenda until the start of the day when people make suggestions for what they’d like to talk about. Gov Camp Cymru will bring together around 120 delegates to discuss, create and innovate around public service development and delivery in Wales. It is open to anyone, public/private/whatever sector, whether this stuff is your work, or you’re just passionate about it.
Government or public service employee – People currently working in these sectors, whether you are representing your employer or attending as an individual
Elected Politician – Politicians at any level
Private sector or freelancers – People who are currently freelancing, or working in the private sector.
Everyone else – If you don’t think you fall into any of the categories above, then you are still welcome. As a citizen or resident of Wales, public services affect you, and your opinion and views matter. All are welcome at GovCampCymru so please do come along and join in.
