Fitness Wales Summer Spectacular
Fitness Wales will host its SUMMER FITNESS SPECTACULAR at the Welsh Institute for Sport (Sport Wales) in Cardiff. Fitness Instructors from all over Wales and the West Country will be converging in Cardiff for what is billed as the “biggest Fitness Convention in Wales”. The Spectacular, which will combine Top International Presenters along with our own emerging talent in Wales, will be putting delegates through their paces with sessions organised into the three themes of ‘Group Exercise’, ‘Personal Trainer and Gym’ or ‘Mind and Body’.
“Our Summer Spectacular is an event not to be missed! We’re really looking forward to welcoming Fitness Professionals and more from across Wales and further afield to join us on this day and discover new and exciting approaches to delivering fitness classes which will challenge you physically and spark the imagination” Nathaniel Freeman, CEO, Fitness Wales
Legendary health and fitness expert Lincoln Bryden will be joining us to deliver a number of workshops and we’re really excited to add our very own Kris Saunders Stowe to this year’s line-up who will be delivering ‘Wheely Good Fitness’; a musically based aerobic class designed for the physical needs of wheelchair users. Long-time Fitness Wales tutor Louise Shephard will also be taking a session on Pilates for men and we have a host of other workshops which will include a Fitness Wales twist on the current craze of high-intensity workouts, first aid from St John’s ambulance and Nordic Walking. Through our Spectacular we are looking to present a fantastic opportunity to explore the fitness sector and for fitness professionals to update their skills. For anybody in the industry or looking to enter the industry or even with just a casual interest; it’s an event that is not to be missed!
As a celebration of the day Fitness Wales will be awarding our Laverne Ritch Award to a person who, for Fitness Wales, has been an inspiration in the industry over the past year. A highly prestigious award within the industry it recognises the efforts of those who go the extra mile, give 150% to their clients and are truly an ‘inspiration to fitness’ through their determination, encouragement, motivation and sheer hard work.
