On the 1 October 2010 all existing anti-discrimination legislation was replaced by the Equality Act 2010. The Act has removed inconsistencies, making legislation simpler to understand and comply with. It also strengthens the law, making it easier to tackle disadvantage and inequality.
This Diverse Cymru course is particularly relevant for employers and service providers from the public, private or voluntary sectors, and the aim of the course is to provide an understanding of the main obligations of employers and service providers under the Equality Act 2010.
The cost is £85 per delegate. This includes a certificate of attendance, all course materials, a buffet lunch and refreshments.
