Ecstasy Harm Reduction Training

This course is suitable for professionals and volunteers in the sector who wish to gain an awareness and understanding on the subject area (level 1).

This course will provide a comprehensive examination of the harm reduction techniques associated with Ecstasy use. It will explore the side effects of Ecstasy use and the rise in popularity of New Psychoactive Substance use that is disguised behind the MDMA tag.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Explore the side effects of Ecstasy and analyse basic harm reduction techniques.
  • Identify how to minimise risk and harm associated with Ecstasy use. 

Lunch is provided.

NewLink Wales Training Team: All the trainers are experienced practitioners who have worked directly with individuals who misuse substances. They are also qualified assessors who maintain a high level of contact with the substance misuse sector.
