Throughout this NewLink Wales course learners will develop a basic knowledge and understanding around domestic abuse and the impact on victims.
This course will:
- Explore different types of abuse
- Summarise what is meant by victims of abuse
- Examine challenges faced by victims
- Investigate how to overcome the barriers
- Explain the use of ‘screening tools’
- Raise awareness of cause and consequences of domestic abuse
