All Wales Residential Network Event
The All Wales Residential Participation Network 2013 will once again bring participation practitioners together from all over Wales to focus on good public engagement as an essential ingredient in the delivery of efficient and effective citizen-centred services.
This year’s theme is “Digital by default? Using technology to engage effectively”. The event will support practitioners and organisations to achieve better citizen and community engagement by sharing skills, learning and good practice.
The event will launch with a session on mapping, where you will meet others who work in your region. You will go on to have the opportunity to attend a range of the following sessions:
– Using Facebook professionally
– Using Twitter professionally
– Blogging
– Welsh language and social media
– What to do when things go wrong
– Free tools and emerging trends
– Making the case for e-participation
– Digital storytelling
Target audience: Consultation/engagement officers, practitioners, and managers within public service organisations in Wales.
Price: £200 per person. Includes attendance on both days and overnight accommodation on 13th June. All meals and use of the hotel’s facilities are included.
