As part of the Starting Blocks Health Awareness programme launched in June, HDACardiff is running a workshop on Developing your ‘user’ voice.

This will be an opportunity for women aged 18+ who feel their views are under-represented, to express their concerns about the condition of health service provision in the areas in which they live. If your health needs are not being met, then please attend to share your views.

The workshop will provide a friendly environment for attendees to develop and communicate their views. The aim of the day will be to strengthen the voice of the community on the topic of what health services can do to improve access and provision.

Views expressed on the day will be fed back to key service providers. There will be a further opportunity at a later date for individuals to meet with local health service providers and discuss their views directly.

Refreshments will be provided. Unfortunately there are no car parking facilities. However, buses run regularly to the centre (buses 11, 12 and 13 from Adamsdown and Splott; number 8 from Grangetown; and number 7 from Butetown).
