Our next event features workshops, presentations and discussions dealing with the complex systems that people come up against, including criminal justice, care and other issues.
We hope to look at how homelessness, housing and other support services can work best for people leaving prison, the armed forces or care, as well as those with experience of domestic abuse or mental health problems.
Sessions currently planned:
- presentationby Glyndwr University researchers on consequences of legal changes around leaving prison and how to improve things, and
- workshopwith the Commission on Justice in Wales about what needs to change,
- presentationby the Wales Centre for Public Policy team on their international review of approaches to youth homelessness and leaving care,
- panel debate on the allocation of housing and support based on priority need, with speakers from a range of different policy areas.
Much more to be announced soon.
