A free event for managers to raise awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation
Aims and Objectives of the Local Safeguarding Children Board training:
The aim of this training is to explore Welsh Government Guidance and Protocol on Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) in respect of roles, responsibilities and identification of young people at risk of CSE through Wales’s national risk assessment SERAF tool.
– ·Use Government guidance and legislation relevant to CSE to inform future work with young people
– ·Identify the children who are most at risk and utilise the local protocol to inform future actions
– ·To understand the assessment process of children / young people at risk using the Seraf Risk Assessment tool and apply a category of risk to each child
This FREE Awareness Event is open to Managers from all statutory, third and independent sector organisations working with children and young people: Social Care, Youth and Community, Sexual Health, Police, Probation, Education, Health, Substance Misuse, Housing.
