CHAPPIE Network Event
The title of this Child Accident, Prevention, Practice and Information Exchange (CHAPPIE) Network event is called Resources, Tools and Ideas for Child Safety Week – Helping You Plan & Evaluate Your Events
The event will be jointly delivered by Karen McFarlane, Children in Wales and the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT).
The aim of the workshop is to help you plan effective child safety activities and to arm you with ideas and resources for your events. These resources will not only be useful for Child Safety Week in June, but for your other child safety activities throughout the year.

– Practical ideas for topics and activities
– Resources for your activities, including complete session plans for parenting groups, quizzes, handouts, bilingual child safety literature, and much more
– The opportunity to view all of the resources available to you from Wales and the UK
– Sharing and learning from the experiences of other practitioners
